After starting to blog seriously over a month ago, I just want to share my experience as a beginner in blogging.

If you're a beginner it's very hard to get respect from others especially to those people that have their mind on their feet. Yesterday,I got a comment from one of my fellow citizen, a Filipino. Saying this,

"hahahaha very nice offer. Pero pano makakasigurado ang mananalo kung ikaw mismo na nagpasimula ng promo e wala nmng adsense ads s blog mo na nagpapatunay na kaya mo nga magpaapprove ng adsense account? Please answer honestly, HOW on Adsense Account Giveaways!"

You know, I'm not forcing you to believe me, and one thing is, I will not post about something that I'm not sure.  Yes, he's right too on what did he said, but the thing that push me to post this, is the link attached to "uwish" which he used as his name. What's the use of that? For me it's an insult. So if you want to gain respect from others, try to give respect too. I know who you are and I know where site where you from. Insecurity won't make you successful. Just mind your own businesses.

Choosing Your Blog Niche

Before making a blog, there are several pointers that a blogger needs to understand. One of this is choosing your own  niche. This is also what a beginner needs when planning to make his own site. So niche is the keyword or idea to put on your blog. This is what your blog will reflect. For example, you choose the niche sports, so your blog posts should more on sports related. You can also make a blog that has no specific idea, or if you want to blog every different trends everyday, though there's no problem with it, but I recommend to have your specific niche, so you can focus on only one topic.

How to choose a niche that will suit your taste? In choosing, think of what you want like your hobbies or your favorites and any other interests. This is the easiest way to start a blog post. Easy in a way that you already know what your topic is all about and you don't need to search for it first in the internet. 

What to avoid in choosing a niche? Avoid choosing a niche that you don't know, or avoid choosing an idea that you just see in the internet just because the site you saw is successful even though you don't know anything about it. Niche matters, yes it is. But strategy matters more. Remember that every successful site that you will see is not profitable or advantageous because of the keyword it reflects, but it is because of the strategy that the site owner implemented to make his site on the top.

Avoid Automated Backlinks

Backlink is one of the major factor that we may consider if we want our site to rank high, despite of that, not all backlinks are good. Some may cause us trouble that may result to penalization of our sites. We may face this trouble when we use automated backlink generators excessively. Beginners always think that it might help for increasing traffic and pageviews, but it is a large X. This method ain't help, I admit that I also used this method, because like the reason I mentioned earlier from this post, I thought that it's a big help.

There are also some ways beside automated backlinks that can be the reason why your site will be/ is ban or penalized. These are Cloaking, Hidden text, Doorway page, Keyword stuffing and other Black Hat SEO techniques.

Finding ways on how to improve a site’s traffic or increase number of visitors is a task that a blogger should do if he want to make his blog or site visible on the very 1^st page of any search engine. One of the easiest ways is to target latest keywords in Google using Google Trends Tool. By visiting this URL you can know what the latest trend is each day. You may also observe the previous trends by choosing a specific date in the given site.  But sometimes keyword hunting is not a good idea because of solid competition between blogs unless you have a brainy strategies that you can use to outweigh your competitors.

How to Avoid Google Penalty

This topic is one of the most important things that a blogger or web owners must and should consider. You get a hard time making your blog right? So take note of what to do and don't let Google Penalty hurt your monthly profit. But before discussing the tips, know first what are the effects of being penalized or banned.

When your blog or site is banned or penalized no one could not able to see your domain name(paid or not) even if it is typed in the address bar or being searched in Google. No matter if how long you've been in blogging business, no matter if you have high traffic, and no matter how hard you try to make your blog on the top. Note that Google has no consideration if they know that you break their rules. So now, listed below are the things you should avoid to make your blog good in the eyes of the people behind Google. 

The first one, you should avoid duplicating content from others or what we called "copy-paste method". This is the most common reason why large number of blogs and websites are being banned.

Lastly, do back links carefully, massive amount of back links may destroy your site and be penalized. You should also avoid the sites for back linking that break the Google TOS.

Google Penalization took almost a year or more to make your blog or site visible again to search engine. So before breaking the rules, think first what you are risking or else you'll get ban.

Entering the blogosphere can change a blogger's life. So in this post, we will discuss the benefits that can we get through blogging and how it can affect ourselves.

Blogging can be also a source of income of every blogger. This is maybe the reason why a lot of people chose to blog than to go outside and go to work 8 hrs a day. Blogging indeed gives a blogger a lot of money,IF the blogger is hardworking.

Make Your Blog Attractive with Blog Widgets

On my previous post, we discussed about the things that would make our blog Google friendly. And this time we will take some time playing with our blog with blog widgets.Blog Widgets are small web applications for websites. It is also a form of screen devices. 

Usually blog hosts like Blogspot.com offfers free widgets that can be easily installed in your blog. ie. Label Widget, Page Widget, et al. You can also search for different and cool blog widgets on the net that are made by some professional bloggers out there. 

As what I said, blog widgets are can easily installed, so here's how:

1. Login to your blog dashboard.

2. Go to Layout Tab and click Add a Gadget.  After clicking, you will see a list of cool widgets that are made for Blogspot. But if you want to put a customized widget I prefer that you should use HTML/Javascript widget. You can edit your code there and get the look of the blog widget you want to appear on your site.

If your homepage is like that and looks like reflecting good articles and facts, then your readers will surely read the rest of your blog too.

What to Write on a Blog?

For me, I think writing and thinking what to post is the hardest part in blogging. Hardest because you need to be creative, you need to avoid duplicate contents. And it is indeed a hard task because you need to catch your readers' attention. But don't mind if you can't write or speak English fluently, the more important in blogging is your content is good, not been copied from other sites and your readers can get what you want to tell them.


So I prepare a list of guidelines regarding on our topic to help others that are having a hard time thinking what to write.

Writing articles about the things you really like makes you write easily. Why? Because you know a lot about the topic you chose. It is much better than writing about something that's just you saw in other sites.

              - like what you did on Gmail, provide needed informations including your blog subdomain and name.

How to blog? How Should you start your blog? What are the ways that you need to do to make my site successful? This are maybe the things that a blogger wannabe thinks. Since I'm also a beginner and an aspiring blogger, I will share you my little knowledge about the things we must first consider before entering the blogosphere. 

How to blog?                                                                                                                                                                                 

Blogging is not easy, yes it is, unless you really enjoy it and if it is indeed your passion. Blogging includes writing and reading and it needs a lot of time to be successful. As what I said, in blogging you will write some articles that will attract every readers' attentions. You should read continuously to learn and gain more knowledge. You should put your heart in every articles you will make. Don't mind the bad grammar or the mistakes you have done, but learn from it. 

How should you start your blog?                                                                                                                                             

Before starting your blog, you should consider the following below:

• Internet connection. 

                 - you should have your own internet connection and at least a laptop.

• Computer Knowledge

                 - you don't be that much computer literate. All you need is a basic computer understanding.

• Basic English

             - not all of us can speak English fluently, even though it's a plus factor in blogging, but it's still aplicable for those who can't fluently express what they want in English to blog. But make sure you know at least basic English.

• Know your Purpose and Intentions

                 - blog to inform not to make money. Yes, we all know that blogging can be a source of profit but you must set aside this first as a blogging starter. Think that you want to blog because you want to be a source of knowledge for everyone and not to make everyone a source of income.

• Know what to Post

               - it is recommended for first time bloggers to focus on one niche that you really know to make your blog posts uniform.

• Take time to Invest

                 -  blogging is a form of business. If you want to be successful take some time to spend money and buy your own domain.
